Welcome to the Craven County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) official website. The MPO is comprised of all municipalities within Craven County and the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) in cooperation with the various administrations within the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT). The MPO participates in a continuing, cooperative and comprehensive ("3-C") transportation planning process in the New Bern Metropolitan Area as required by Section 134 (a), Title 23, United States Code.
