Amendments to the 2024-2033 Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program
The 2024-2033 Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program (MTIP) identifies state and federally funded transportation investments within the New Bern Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Area.
Amendment 4 includes Statewide projects for lidar data collection and resilience program reporting, management, and support. It also includes MPO STIP addition of funding for ADA work at intersections and modifying the STIP to add pedestrian signals at Fort Totten and NC 55 intersection.
This Amendment will enable transportation projects to continue to move through the planning, design, right-of-way, and construction phases. Public comment will be received through January 18, 2024.
