Route Selection Updates - U.S. 70 Improvements – Havelock Bypass to East of Thurman Road

You may remember in September the public was invited to provide comments on the R-5777C project, The US 70 improvements from the Havelock Bypass to East of Thurman Rd. The NCDOT has selected a preferred alternative route.

The route is a combination of the following:

• Stately Pines Rd - Alternative B (US 70 UNDER Stately Pines)

• West Fisher Rd/East Fisher Ave - Alternative A (US 70 OVER Fisher Rd/Ave)

• West Camp Kiro Rd/East Camp Kiro Rd - Alternative A (US 70 OVER Camp Kiro Rd)
