The 2024-2033 Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program (MTIP) identifies state and federally funded transportation investments within the New Bern Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Area.
Amendment 14 adds new projects at the statewide level for the administrative oversight for integrated mobility division, to develop carbon reduction strategy and emissions tool, to improve isolated closed-loop system signals, funding for scholarships and internships. It also modifies funding at the statewide level for various federal grants for administrative, operations, and capital funding for Section 5310, Section 5311, and Section 5339.
This Amendment will enable transportation projects to continue to move through the planning, design, right-of-way, and construction phases. Public comments will be received through January 15, 2025.
